| What is art anyway? There are many ways of answering this question, but to my mind art is what you want or need it to be at the time. A work of art can capture a moment in time for eternity, taking the eye and the mind into a new dimension; or it can give a glimpse of something quirky, funny or spiritual, something 'other' than our daily lives. |

| My art is mainly self taught. Last year, my lifestyle was changed through circumstances outwith my immediate control and I found that I had some time on my hands. So I began to experiment with acrylics and discovered my own style drawing with my paint and building the image up that way. |
